Aluminumanode for Mercury outboards. Located on the bottom of the external power trim pump assembly. Fits Mercury/Mariner 30/40 FourStroke, 40 (4 cylinder), 50 (3 cylinder 1987‑1997), 55 (3 cylinder), 60‑90 (3 cylinder 1987 & newer), 75 (4 cylinder), 75/90 FourStroke, 100‑125 (4cyl), 115 (6 cylinder 1984‑1988), and all V‑6 and OptiMax outboard engines. "NEW" V6 (3.4L) & V8 (4.6L) *excluding Verado and Verado Seapro FourStroke outboards.

Four stroke synthetic blend oil is recommended for use in all four stroke outboards to 150 hp, 3.4L V-6 outboards and 4.6L V-8 outboards. It is SAE 10W30 weight oil. Mercury High Performance Gear Lube 8M011677 is 85W90 weight for use in outboard and sterndrive racing applications. Also for use in high‑performance gearcases used in marine, powersports, and motorsports applications. Provides maximum protection against wear. Its tackifiers and pressure additives improve oil film adhesion and protect against excessive wear. Helps prevent horsepower loss and won’t break down when gears reach high temperatures. Advanced emulsifiers protect gears if water enters the gear housing. Should be changed once each year when winterizing the engine or every 100 hours of operation.
